Hello everyone ! It’s time for “Innovation Per Week” again this week. Today, we’re going to introduce you to our proud product code inspection system.
The system acts like a detective to uncover the identity of the product. It checks for matching codes on the outside and inside of the product, just like fingerprint matching at a crime scene.
This system can also handle objects with high reflective properties. Even mirror-like products read codes with a clear image. As part of the high-tech detective equipment, the camera and lens go through every inch of the product and send that information to software that checks for code matching on the image.
The workflow is as follows:
- The software selects the product model to be inspected by the worker.
- When the product is placed in the inspection area (using an auto-detection sensor or a button), the stage is set.
- The software automatically examines the product’s exterior and internal codes to determine if they match.
If there is a match, it will glow “OK”, and if it does not, the red warning light will light up as “NG” and an alarm will sound. This will reveal its identity as if the product were introducing itself.
This product code inspection system can significantly reduce the risk of incorrect products entering the market. The results are immediately displayed on the screen, and the examination is incredibly quick. Thanks to indicator lights and alarms, it is easy for any worker to intuitively understand the results.
