Code Inspection System

• Inspection

  We use software that can read codes to check whether the codes written on the product cover and inside the product match.
  Set the camera so that it can show the product cover and the product contents at the same time.
  It reads the code written on the product cover, recognizes the code written inside the product, and makes an OK/NG decision.

  
  

  If OK, return OK result. In case of NG, an NG result will be returned, the warning light will glow red and an alarm will sound.

• 

Work flow

1. A worker interacts with the software and selects the product model to inspect.
2. A worker places the product in the inspection area (which must be visible to the camera).
3. Once the product is placed in the area, use the button to start the inspection.
4. The software automatically inspects the product cover and product contents.
5. If the code on the cover and the code on the inside match the product model, an OK result will be returned.
6. If the code on the cover and the code inside do not match the product model,
an NG result will be returned, the warning light will turn red, and an alarm will sound.

• Conclusion

  – By using a camera to project the product as shown in the photo above, it is determined that the product is OK if the code on the product cover and the code inside the product match.
  If the code on the product cover and the code inside the product do not match, it will be judged as NG and the indicator and alarm will be activated.
  Code recognition is now possible using image recognition.
