By using dome lighting, it is possible to read the name card inside the product.
Even though ring lighting etc. have a diffuser plate, the light becomes direct and reflections occur, making the name card unreadable in some places.
Since the dome lighting provides indirect light, reflections are suppressed and OCR can now be read without problems even if the position or angle of the name card changes within the product. -

The OCR software promptly recognizes text from the camera image, compares it with data in Excel, and then displays OK/NG on the screen.

Simultaneously, information is displayed in a data storage file (e.g., Excel).

- The camera reads the position of the product and name card, ensuring stable OCR reading.
- If the product is passed on a conveyor, the surface of the name card must be flattened.
- Flattening the surface of the name card improves OCR reading accuracy.
- The time it takes for one reading is about 300-500ms
