High-performance image processing and analysis software WinROOF 2021 Lite
In addition to image concatenation and various measurement functions, the software also provides focus stacking features that enable focus stacking of not only images observed with a microscope, but also those with a stereomicroscope.
●You can generate a concatenated image by stacking multiple images vertically and horizontally (without any limit on image count).
●You can manually turn the vertical adjustment knob
●You can manually turn the focus adjustment knobs to adjust focus distance during merging.
●You can use the merging function to take multiple differently focused images and combine them into a single clear image.

Main features
WinROOF 2021 Lite is a high-performance image processing and analysis software that comes with a variety of measurements and focus stacking (focus merging) functions for images observed with a microscope, as well as with a stereomicroscope with e-Tiling function.
Features of WinROOF 2021 Lite
High-performance image processing and image analysis software.
You can create a concatenated image by stacking multiple captured images vertically and horizontally (without any limit on image count).
You can manually turn the focus adjustment knobs during merging
Normally, an uneven object can only be clearly observed on one side. The focus merging function help combine multiple differently focused images into 1 complete image.

Useful features of WinROOF 2021 Lite
Function 1. Focus stacking (focus stacking while manually turning the vertical focus adjustment (coarse adjustment knob))
This standard “focus merging” function combines focuses while you turn the vertical focus adjustment (coarse adjustment knob) of the microscope. Focus stacking helps combine multiple differently focused images into 1 complete image.
Function 2. Focus stacking (a compositing function that takes multiple images with different focal points and combines them into one image)
This product can combine (focus stack) multiple images with different focal points to create one whole image in focus. This is especially effective for uneven objects, eliminating the need to compare multiple images side by side.

Additional functions, such as inserting text, inserting arrow and exporting data to Excel, are also included.
Function 4. Measurement assistant function
This function zooms in the measurement point indicated by your mouse cursor. Additionally, this function also includes edge automatic fit, which reduces human error and enables accurate measurement.
Function 5. Image connection function (tiling function)
In observing objects that do not fit within the microscope’s field of view, this image connection (tiling) function generates a wide-field, high-resolution image by splitting the screen and pasting those images into one.
It is possible to create a concatenated image by concatenating multiple captured images vertically and horizontally (there is no limit on the number of images).
High-speed pattern recognition processing evenly generates images from the margin.
You can specify the pattern matching position by clicking any position on the image.
Auto-interpolation function that eliminates image seams.

Function 6. Filtering
This product also comes with a filtering function that creates an effective image for analysis by making full use of various filters, such as lens aberration correction, edge enhancement and noise removal.

Recommended for those who want to focus stack images taken with a stereomicroscope!
Focus stacking of multiple images taken with a stereomicroscope is very difficult. Objective lens of a stereomicroscope faces slightly inward. Therefore, if you adjust focus by using the coarse adjustment knob to move the observation object into focus (moving the stage up and down), not only the objective lens will shift, but the optical axis will also tilt. However, since this WinRO OF 2021 Lite has an “automatic position correction” function, it enables more stereoscopic observation, image taking, and focus stacking by taking advantage of the characteristics of a stereomicroscope.
